New beginnings, new year....

Well, I have taken up a new hobby of photography and will be posting more pics of the kids this year.

On Nami's first day of school, Esethu decided he was going with us to take her to class, he was a different person to last year (where he refused to enter the school and explore). This time, he walked confidently to his sister's class and started to unpack toys...For me a great big sign that he's finally ready! he interacted with 5-6 year olds confidently! *proud mummy*

Nami's really growing at school and we often get good reports that she's very friendly, polite etc.

I will upload pics of our Dec- Jan holidays in Zimbabwe, JHB and Ladysmith very soon..... I promise!

Wow, I really can't believe it's November already and this is the first blog post....been a busy year!

Nami's loving school and even wants to go during the holidays!! I suppose that means she was really ready to start school as we didnt even have winter morning glitches :)

Esethu's still at home and loving the monopoly he has with the toys while Nami's at school all day!

Long Time......

Hi guys,

Its been a very long time. I just wanted to say hello...

I will post some pics as soon as possible from all the holidays we've been on. we're all fine kids are growing up fast. Nami will be starting pre-Grade R in January, so she's super excited about that!

Please pray for me tomorrow guys, something that's major for me is due to happen tomorrow and I am quite nervous...but trusting God, this is one thing i know i cannot do without Him.

Happy Sabbath

Hi

Just a note to say happy Sababath; I hope you have a restful one and focus on God instead of the many distractions and stresses of this world.

I am very tired and will be grateful to wake up an hour later than normal...

Esethu moved to his own bed :-)

So on Sunday evening Buhle and I decided to try and put Esethu in his own bed...expecting him to kick and scream...it was a NO event!!! he's been sleeping in his bed since then and hasn't tried to come back to ours!!



Very grateful for this development, I will post pics of his 'car bed' as soon as soon as I have some pics! Nami's very proud of him, and says she 'taught him' how to sleep on his own bed!



He has picked up a whole of Zulu words, since his auntie came to stay with us, I gave him a cup of water and he said "Mummy Phuza Esethu", the other day he was crying the whole way home, in the car saying "phuma, phuma" he really doesnt like car rides...

Measles outbreak

There's an outbreak in Cape Town, a friend's daughter has contracted it. So I'm asking you all to pray for her...we are all fine and thanking God for sparing us thus far.
