UK Holiday (Summer break)

Been a long time since I wrote here; so I'll just do a few updates...

We went to visit Gogo for about three weeks and the kids really loved it.

We saw family we havent seen in a long time:

Esethu had his birthday this past weekend. The first celebration was on Friday at school:

Esethu's first ever school experience :-)

Esethu started school today, he cried a whole lot when we were leaving, but settled down ten minutes after we left.

Our second weekend in Dublin

We are almost done unpacking so had some time to do some touring, but not very far from our house. We took a short drive to a restuarant down the road for dinner, but first a stop at the park and I found a beautiful waterfall.

We also went to the sea side, only we didnt find much water...i attach a pic of me, since I'm hardly in any of the pictures (being the family photographer).

Nami has gotten very acquainted with our neighbours daughter, who lent her this new 'challenge'.

Esethu is still into cars and found a real beauty also from our new neighbours :-)

We've moved :-)

It's been a week and a half for us in Dublin, and I finally have a bit of time to write a blog post. Nami seems happy in her new school and Esethu will start school on Monday. Here's a picture of the on Nami's first day of school. As you can see, we've moved right into winter...what they call 'spring'.

2012

New beginnings, new year....

Well, I have taken up a new hobby of photography and will be posting more pics of the kids this year.

On Nami's first day of school, Esethu decided he was going with us to take her to class, he was a different person to last year (where he refused to enter the school and explore). This time, he walked confidently to his sister's class and started to unpack toys...For me a great big sign that he's finally ready! he interacted with 5-6 year olds confidently! *proud mummy*

Nami's really growing at school and we often get good reports that she's very friendly, polite etc.

I will upload pics of our Dec- Jan holidays in Zimbabwe, JHB and Ladysmith very soon..... I promise!

2011 at a glance...

Wow, I really can't believe it's November already and this is the first blog post....been a busy year!

Nami's loving school and even wants to go during the holidays!! I suppose that means she was really ready to start school as we didnt even have winter morning glitches :)

Esethu's still at home and loving the monopoly he has with the toys while Nami's at school all day!
