Happy Sabbath

Hi

Just a note to say happy Sababath; I hope you have a restful one and focus on God instead of the many distractions and stresses of this world.

I am very tired and will be grateful to wake up an hour later than normal...

Esethu moved to his own bed :-)

So on Sunday evening Buhle and I decided to try and put Esethu in his own bed...expecting him to kick and scream...it was a NO event!!! he's been sleeping in his bed since then and hasn't tried to come back to ours!!



Very grateful for this development, I will post pics of his 'car bed' as soon as soon as I have some pics! Nami's very proud of him, and says she 'taught him' how to sleep on his own bed!



He has picked up a whole of Zulu words, since his auntie came to stay with us, I gave him a cup of water and he said "Mummy Phuza Esethu", the other day he was crying the whole way home, in the car saying "phuma, phuma" he really doesnt like car rides...

Measles outbreak

There's an outbreak in Cape Town, a friend's daughter has contracted it. So I'm asking you all to pray for her...we are all fine and thanking God for sparing us thus far.

happy Sabbath

Just about to pack up, the holy Sabbath is upon us. Just wanted to wish you all a great one. I am thankful today, my kids are both well again and are back to normal...thankful for food, shelter, family and friends as well.

I got a compliment this week about my hair, from a church member; that made me smile...since most people at church think locs are part of the rastafarian religion and as a result not good in the SDA church...

I'll post pics of my hair as soon as I have some :-)

long weekend

Hi All;

 

Enjoy the long weekend....the kids are 'down' with bronchiolitis; great thing is that they are still very happy so at least  know they're not that bad! It might just be time for Esethu to finally get off the DUMMY; he woke us up last night about three times because he had lost his dummynot funny at 3am!
